Solar Energy Innovators Program
The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Solar Energy Technology Office (SETO) seeks applications for the 2018 Solar Energy Innovators Program. The Solar Energy Innovators Program will offer hands-on, practical experiences that allow participants to contribute innovative solutions to the challenges utilities, energy service providers, and public utilities commissions (PUCs) face as they adapt to a system with increasing levels of solar and other distributed energy resources (DERs). Applicants must have a commitment from a Host Institution at the time of the application submission and should have recently obtained a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree relevant to electricity generation, transmission, or distribution. Relevant fields include but are not limited to science, technology, mathematics, engineering, public policy, economics, business, and law. Participants are expected to apply their knowledge and experience to assist in developing and supporting new and ongoing projects at their respective Host Institution. Applications are being accepted through Zintellect until January 8, 2018 at 11:59pm EST.
- Annual stipend based on appointment level, commensurate with qualifications
