Further your career readiness by taking a FREE Professional Development Series this Fall! There are three upcoming series offered to graduate students and postdocs: Supervising Work and People, Developing Your Leadership Skills, and Presentation Skills. These series are instructed by The Graduate School's Mary Anne Berzins. 

 

Supervising Work and People Series
In this seminar series we will explore the essentials of supervision, the employment relationship and
keeping work moving. The topics will provide insights to help you be successful in your first supervisory
role. The Supervising Work and People Series will start on August 26, through October 14 from 9:30 -

Developing Your Leadership Skills Series
The focus of this seminar series is to provide graduate students and post docs with opportunities to reflect
on their leadership style, personal career development and to enhance or develop skills in a number of
specific areas including defining personal success, working optimally with others, building collaborative
relationships, challenging conversations, conflict navigation, mentoring and negotiation. The series starts
