Tuition and Fees
The University of Utah rates are roughly half the tuition charged by many public research universities.
Nonresidents certified under the exchange program WICHE may be eligible for in-state tuition rate if they are a resident of one of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WGRP) participating states.
Graduate Housing
Housing choices for graduate students, both single and those with partners and/or children, include on-campus options through Housing & Residential Education and University Student Apartments, as well as off-campus sites. Residency
Nonresident domestic graduate students may be eligible for Utah residency for tuition purposes after completing 40 credit hours. Visit the Office of Admissions page for more detailed information about residency reclassification eligibility, process, and deadlines.
