University of Utah Writing Center Resource

The University of Utah Writing Center offers free services to help students become more confident writers. Graduate writing consultants can help you develop your ideas, plan your project, form good arguments, and more! Services are offered via zoom, in-person at their Marriott Library location, and asynchronous tutoring through a consortium of graduate tutors.

Writing Center services are available to current graduate students at no cost to students. In addition to providing assistance with papers for your degree, graduate consultants have experience in tutor graduate students’ research proposals, grant applications, articles for publication, abstracts and papers for conferences, dissertations, and CVs and resumes. Consultants are also familiar with varying writing and citation styles, including APA and MLA.

The Writing Center is located in the Marriot Library, and online. Online tutoring is available seven days a week and in-person tutoring falls within a limited schedule, visit website for current hours.
